When planning a hen night, there are many different styles and tastes and experiences you can create. After reading though many articles, watching video, talking to others and my personal experience, I have created a list of hen night ideas that no hen night organizer should forget to at least think about.

Hen Night Alcohol is crucial to the relaxed nature of the party allowing everyone to freely have fun. Alcohol should be divided into three categories, cheap, favorite of the groom and expensive mix drinks. At a hen night, buying cheap wine is a good way to get drunk before you head out to the bar and allows you to get as drunk as possible at the smallest cost. If however, the bride wishes for tradition sake to drink the grooms favorite booze, this is acceptable, otherwise buy the cheap stuff. With the money you have saved from the cheap beer, you should by the best booze for making cocktails. These will be made for the early drinking games when everyone can still taste the booze, when you stop tasting it and it just goes down, switch to the cheap stuff.

Hen Night Games are a great way to bond and compete at the same time. Hen night games such as truth or dare, twister and mold the man are great to get everyone in the right mood before heading out to the bar. Drinking games are also a great way to get everyone in the mood, any one will do for example watching an ACDC thunder shook music video and drinking every time he says thunder shook.

Hen Night Costumes are a great hen night idea to make the party unique, special and remember able. Themes are defiantly something to consider, from ironic angels, to demons, to bunnies, goths, cults and punk, its all crazy and loads of fun. Costumes allow you to be disguised enough that if a picture is taken, they can't prove it was that person. This allows costumes to cause a wilder, crazier and much more fun party. A wilder crazier and more fun party will be something the bride as well as the other party members will look back on as one of the great times in their lives.

Hen Night Snacks should be flavorful and playful. As long as the bride isn't on some strict diet to fit into her wedding dress, there should be loads of chip and dip as well as salsa and corn chips. Basically anything that the bride to be likes and would be at a normal party are acceptable, however make sure that there is variety and more than enough for everyone.

Hen Night Cameras An idea that is sometimes overlooked is having a couple of disposable cameras as well as a low cost digital camera. Camera phones are great for pictures you want to be kind of hazy, but digital is better for this and allows you not to have it developed. Disposable cameras are best because if they are destroyed there is little money cost, as well for the cost and risk they create pictures with qualities higher than even the most expensive digital camera.
