The day before a girl and guy get married they both go out and have a wild party! The guys go to a bachelor party and the ladies go to a Hen Night. A hen night is a special party for a woman who is about to get married. At a hen party the bride to be goes to one of her female friends house or a nightclub or on a holiday. At the friend’s house of the bride to be, the group of ladies watches old favourite movies of the bride to be. At the hen party the group drinks tons of cheap booze and mixed drinks and plays games. The games played can include the bride’s favourite games, interactive games such as twister. Hen night accessories help to make a party more fun.

Many countries do not use the name Hen Night for the previously described party. A hen night or hen party is the name that is generally used in Europe and Australia. In Canada a Hen night is known as a stagette party. In the United States of America a hen party is known as a bachelorette party.

Whatever name a hen party is called by, it is considered a rite of passage from the single life to the married life. Celebrating all the fun times that the single life had and the excitement of a new beginning for the union ship between the soon to be husband and wife.

Depending on the mood of the hen party and the bride to be, the party may move out from her friends house out to the town and into the bars. The bride to be is dressed is a mock up bride gown for the bottom and a t-shirt top. The bride to be will go to the bar, where her friends and guys she meets will buy her booze, each time they do, they sign her shirt. For a more adventurous bride to be, staple candy to her shirt and have a sign that says sucks for a buck. Any guy willing to pay a dollar will be able to break off a piece of candy from her shirt.

If you want to have a hen party on a tight budget, think staying in and drinking at home before going out to the bar. Drinking at home instead of the bar will save you lots of cash, as well as having entertaining games that everyone can play like pin the macho on the man. Games such as pin the macho on the man cost practically nothing but are great for hours of drunken fun.

A hen party is something the bride to be will remember the rest of her married life but pictures will bring to life these memories. Disposable cameras are a must to bring these memories to life, without the risk to a digital camera or the low quality of a camera phone. However you may want to have a cheap digital camera to take pictures that you wouldn’t want a developer to see.

A hen night is an experience no girl should be without and there are many hen night accessories to make the party a blast!
